International Artists Symposium

During the two week symposium the international artists work together in 14 workshops, create a documentation of the ephemeral art works and prepare an exhibition in the Forest Art Centre. The workshops take place in Darmstadt and its surroundings within the UNESCO Global Geopark Bergstrasse- Odenwald which offers many historical, landscape-related and geological topics.
In their artistic fieldwork, the artists create nature art and show their individual artistic and cultural approach to nature. The Schader Foundation organizes an expert talk with artists. Two Wednesday Forums offer insight in the artistic work of our guests. The group consists of 9 international and 14 German artists. They are from Australia, Bulgaria, France, Netherland, Mongolia, Southkorea, Taiwan, Türkey, USA und Germany.
